Hello Lovelies!
Did you know?
Experts estimate that the mind processes between 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. That's an average of 2500 – 3,300 thoughts per hour. That's incredible.
So how do we rein in these thousands of thoughts and be consistent with producing a joyful, clear confident mind?
This can be achieved by being consistent in our creative work, moving our body, in building our businesses, taking care of our health, staying connected to friends and family, or in our spiritual practice.
It can be especially hard now when we are social distancing and possibly have more people in our house than usual.
What if we flipped the switch and asked ourselves this question instead;
When is it not hard to be consistent?
When you have a group of people around you that will support you during this time of the unknown.
When you are taking care of yourself with healthy food, moving your body, and getting enough sleep.
When we remember nobody needs to give us permission to live OUR OWN life and pursue the things we love.
When we know deep within us we have the POWER to conquer.
Is it possible to have consistent thoughts given your current life and the pandemic? Can you be open to change?
If it isn’t, what needs to change? Your demands on yourself? Your boundaries? Your support systems?
For me...my change had to be setting boundaries around my daily routine. Morning and evening. My husband was off work for 8 weeks during the Pandemic. I really had to dig deep and be faithful to my self care and daily routine and my Life Coaching business.
Not saying I wasn't distracted a day or two to run errands or work in our yard and spend time with him when I should have been working. But that time spent was well worth it.
What can you be more consistent with in your life?
What steps can you take today to live your life, the only way it can be . . . by you. No forcing, no holding back.
With Gratitude,
Susan
